Selloverse

Terms of Service

Last updated

Draft notice: the legal name and registered address of the company that operates Selloverse are still to be added to this page.

These terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME — to be confirmed] ("Selloverse", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Selloverse app or website you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use Selloverse.

1. Your account

  • You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code. Keep your phone and SIM secure: anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
  • Give accurate information, and keep it up to date. One person or business per account; do not sign in as somebody else.
  • You must be at least 18 to open a vendor account. Customers under 18 should use Selloverse with a parent or guardian.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other users at risk, or is used for fraud.

2. Selloverse is a marketplace

Selloverse provides the cards, the directory, ordering, booking and chat tools. The goods and services themselves are sold by vendors, who are independent businesses.

Every order, booking or quote is a contract between the customer and the vendor. Selloverse is not a party to it, does not own, sell, store or deliver the goods, and does not guarantee their quality, safety, legality or delivery.

3. Vendor responsibilities

If you sell on Selloverse, you agree to:

  • Describe your business, items and prices accurately, and keep stock, hours and prices current.
  • Sell only goods and services you are legally allowed to sell, and hold any licence or registration your trade needs.
  • Honour the orders and bookings you accept, deliver what was described, and treat customers fairly.
  • Handle delivery, returns and refunds for your own orders, and pay any taxes due on your sales.
  • Submit only genuine identity documents for verification.
  • Use customers' names, phone numbers and messages only to deal with their order or enquiry — never for unrelated marketing, and never sell or share them.
  • Answer for what your team members do in your account.

4. Prohibited items

You may not list, sell or offer:

  • Anything illegal in Pakistan, or that needs a licence you do not hold.
  • Weapons, ammunition and explosives; narcotics and drug paraphernalia; alcohol.
  • Prescription medicines, or medical devices, without the required licence.
  • Counterfeit or pirated goods, or anything that infringes somebody else’s trademark or copyright.
  • Stolen goods, or goods whose ownership you cannot prove.
  • Pornographic or sexual content or services.
  • Gambling, lotteries, or financial schemes promising returns.
  • Protected wildlife and their parts; hazardous or toxic materials.
  • Personal data, accounts, SIM cards registered to other people, or official documents.

5. Prohibited conduct

  • Fraud, scams, or taking payment for goods you do not intend to supply.
  • Fake, paid or incentivised reviews, or reviewing your own business.
  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, or content that is blasphemous, obscene or otherwise unlawful under Pakistani law, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016.
  • Spam, impersonating another person or business, or misleading badges and claims.
  • Scraping the service, interfering with its security, or using it to send malware.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the text, photos and videos you upload. You give Selloverse a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, resize and share that content on Selloverse and in links to it (for example a WhatsApp preview or a search result), for as long as it is on the service. You confirm you have the right to upload it.

7. Reports and moderation

Anyone can report a card, review, item or message from the app. We review reports and may remove content, hide a review, remove a badge, suspend a card, or close an account. We may act without a report when we find a breach. Where we can, we tell you what was removed and why, and you can ask us to look again by writing to us.

8. Orders and cash on delivery

Customers pay vendors directly — usually cash on delivery, or another method the vendor offers. Selloverse does not collect, hold or refund payment for orders. Check your order when it arrives, before you pay.

9. Vendor subscriptions and billing

  • Vendors can use a free plan or a paid plan. Plan features and prices are shown in the app and may change; a change in price applies from your next billing period.
  • Paid plans are paid by bank transfer to the account shown in the app. Upload the receipt or reference; the plan starts or renews once we confirm the transfer.
  • Plans do not renew or charge automatically. We remind you before your plan ends; if it is not renewed, a short grace period applies, after which the card returns to the free plan.
  • Fees are not refundable, except where the law requires it or we charged you in error.

10. Disputes

If something goes wrong with an order, contact the vendor first. If that does not resolve it, the customer can raise a dispute from the order or at web.selloverse.pk/dispute, with photos as evidence. The vendor is asked to respond, and Selloverse may review both sides.

Our role is to look at the evidence and decide what happens on Selloverse — for example, removing a review, warning or suspending a vendor. We cannot force a refund, because we do not hold the payment. Your rights under Pakistani consumer-protection law are not affected.

11. Disclaimers and liability

Selloverse is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for what vendors list, sell or deliver, or for what users say to each other.

To the extent the law allows, Selloverse is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Ending your account

You can stop using Selloverse and delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete account). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — such as content licences for links already shared, liability and governing law — continue after that.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect; continuing to use Selloverse after that means you accept them. Questions: support@selloverse.pk. [LEGAL ENTITY NAME — to be confirmed], [REGISTERED ADDRESS — to be confirmed].
